Voters are required to show photo ID when voting in North Carolina. Early Voting begins February 15th and goes through March 2nd. In person early voting period for the 2024 Fall election will start Thursday, October 17th, 2024 and ends Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. General Election is Tuesday, November 5th 2024. Last day to register to vote prior to the General election is October 11th. Any of the following, regardless of whether the ID contains an expiration or issuance date: Military or veterans ID card issued by the U.S. government Tribal enrollment card issued by a tribe recognized by the State or federal government ID card issued by an agency of the U.S. government or the State of North Carolina for a public assistance program |
