November 3, the League of Women Voters of Carteret County celebrated Election Hero Day by posting a sign in front of the Carteret County Board of Elections to celebrate the work that the election officials, election staff, poll workers and volunteers do to keep our elections smooth, save and secure. Staff was also presented with some goodies to help them get through the long days today and on election day tomorrow.

Next League Meeting- Thursday, November 20th- 11:30 am- Tight Lines Restaurant in Morehead City. Our Speaker will be Dr. Jennifer Bremer- PhD Public Policy, Harvard University. Jennifer is from our State League and she will speak on Citizens Initiative. Bring a friend!
